Door Thresholds
Fantastic door threshold is a water return sill. The material used in making the base is the same as used in composite door jamb. The top is solid PVC co-extrusion in different colours along with anodized aluminum in clear and black finish. Compared to adjustable sill, it does not need mechanism for adjusting the top and it does not need to attach door shoes to the bottom of the door to close the gap between door and the top of the sill.
With Fantastic sill, the door closes on the weatherstrip which is already inserted to the face of threshold and seals the door.
The top is fixed and the gap between the top of the sill and bottom of the door does not need to be filled up with anything.
Fantastic sill is tested with variety of door brands and different configurations for NAFS. It is tested for Florida hurricane. It is tested with PVC – composite door frame and it is in the process of evaluating for “U” value.
